OBD Codes - Engine problems?
I pulled two codes from my 99 s70 glt the other day when the check engine light came on. I reset it and the light came back on 2 days later with the same codes. Anyone have any advice on what I can do to fix this on my own.
The codes are:
P1171 - Fuel Adaption, Bank 1
P0013 - Exhaust Cam Position Actuator Open Circuit - Bank 1
I was reading about P0013 at http://www.engine-light-help.com/P00...ine-light.html which hints at a VCT circuit
Someone was saying that P1171 could be related to air leakage, high fuel pressure, leaking injectors, defective Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or defective heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
Not sure how the two codes are related since they both fire together.
I've recently been having some issues in the morning when the car is cool with some hesitation of the engine not being able to exceed 2500rpm. After about 15-30 seconds to revving the engine it goes away and I can drive normally.
Thanks
