Default Oil Change

I am planning to do an oil change on my 1999 Volvo S70 non-turbo. I already have the drain plug washer and the Mann W917 oil filter (fcpgroton.com). I was wondering what size the drain plug is so I can buy the appropriate wrench. Also where is the best place to jack up the front end of the car? Thanks very much.

The drain plug is a 17MM.

You can jack it up from the Subframe if you want to in the middle in the front.

Thank you very much for the quick reply. Did the 1999 non-turbo S70 (2.4 L) do away with the conventional oil filter and switch to the filter inserts or was it just the turbo models?

99 was a split year. Then turbo I believe have the metal and the Non-turbo have the cartridge.
