Default OIL in distributor cap,TECH please help.

I have a leak ,Oil is coming oil inside my distributor cap.
is there a rubber seal in there that might need to be replaced

Yes the rear cam seal is leaking and needs to be replaced.

How hard is this to replace myself.
can i see it after i remove the distributor cap and rotor

It is not that bad. After the cap and rotor are out you need to remove the plate that holds the rotor. It is 1 10MM bolt then you can swap the seal out.

RIGHT BEHIND the distributor cap mounted on the engine there is something round with a wire it look like there is a seal inside of it as well.
What is that called.

It's called the cam shaft sensor. Here is my instructions on replacing them:

any idea where I can buy that seal inside the sensor.
I was able to find the one that goes behind the distributor cap at a local auto parts but not this one.

They are both the sane cam seal.

Yes it is the same part number for both seals. You will need to remove the sensor and the plate under it.

Chchouu, I wouldn't suggest using after market seals. Our car had after market seals in there and they were leaking. Most post I have read suggest that after market seals do NOT last as long as OEM seals. Also, make sure your PCV system is not plugged up or you may find yourself repeating this job soon, or worse yet needing a real main seal because your cam seals are no longer the weak point.

I cleaned out the PCV and the flame trap,no smoke from my dip stick,so i doubt it,s plugged.
I am changing it tomorrow so I,ll see how it goes.

I can,t remove the rear main seal
Is there a tricky way or tool that I need,flat screw driver doesn,t help

Not really. I had to dig at it with the real small screw driver I had in my instructions, are you using one of them? See the picture in item 21.

I had a hard time getting one or two out. The other two were blown out so it was easy. Just have to keep diging at it.
