Well the guy said about $430....

that with the hose being about @125 and the "oil seperator" being about @40.. so about $180 in parts with all the other stuff too..

so about $250 labor.. Is that a good price for the job, what do you think..?

Seems about right to me.

I bought my PCV 'kit' off FCP Groton, and the local Indie shop quoted me 300 in labour (They are also replacing the exhaust tip and hanger).
Seems pretty reasonable if they plan on replacing all the hoses etc.

Sounds pretty fair to me. If you can afford to pay them to do it go that route. If you need the money, do it yourself. I have gone both ways, depending on my situation.

My S70 is having the same issue,

I can get the PCV valve Kit from the previous owner(a friend of mine) for $50 as well as a spare MAF(junk yard one) i dont need the MAF i need the PCV valve kit.

Also my Dipstick is broken, and every site i see(Fcp or others) say to replace the dipstick tube as well as the dipstick itself. Why is that?

Default I have the same situation .....

[I have the same problem with my dipstick but the part of the top handle that goes inside broke off. So when I drive oil will spill out from time to time even can give u the illusion of having an oil leak from it dripping down off your engine. You can go on ebay and buy a brand new dipstick for 9.00 dollars. They also have this part called Proparts Oil Dipstick Tube Seal which is 4 bucks I think with both of those your problem should be solved hope this helped.
