Wow my 2000 S70 GLT SE was absolutely LOVING the cold air we finally got down in S. Florida last week! Today (hot again) check engine light came on and is throwing the P0442 and P0113 codes.

P0442: Catalyst efficiency low-bank 1
P0113: Intake Air Temp sensor

I'm going to go ahead and replace the sensor and hope that clears both codes. Looking for you brilliant Volvoforums.com members to help me out with any advice you may have on how to attack these two codes.

Not sure if this has anything to do with my code problems but over the last two weeks when the car is started, the RPMs race to about 3,000 for 5 seconds or so and then drop down to normal idle RPMs. If this is not related, can anybody suggest why it started this behavior and how to fix?
