For the past six months or so the passenger front seat belt will magically unbuckle while driving. It's driving my wife nuts and I'm afraid if we ever do get in an accident it won't save her. She swears she's not pushing the button and there's nothing there that would hit the button accidentally.

She's gotten in the habit of buckling it and then pulling on it several times to make sure it's locked in place, but a few miles down the road, invariably, it will come unbuckled on it's own.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Are there any options besides finding a working one at a junk yard and replacing it?
