Default Passenger seat help

The passenger seat in my '98 S70 is stuck all the way forward..I have heard about a "micro switch" located where the seat back meats the frame but i have not been able to find it...Is there a way to manually move this seat back? I am a little low on funds and do not have the money to have the seat fixed right now, but its also a little uncomfortable for my passengers

Old thread but I have had this problem with my 1998 C70 Coupe passenger seat twice. 1st time took to dealer for repair: $1000!!!
Today removed the seat myself ordered micro switch & retainer, P/N: 8616325, switch ($10.58) & 8616326, retainer ($15.68) from sales@volvopartswebstore.com. $11.95 shipping & handling to Virginia.
Volvo Parts cost $25.29 just for the F....... retainer! The problem seems to be the retainer breaks easily. You can usually find a small spring hanging down @ the junction swivel point of the seat/seat back when this happens & no elec buttons, bottom or side will work on the seat! If you intend to remove the seat to perform this repair be sure to insert the SIPS safety clip before you start! I am going to attempt to find a way to move the seat forward & back while it is out manualy. I will add to this thread the results soon. Anyone have any advice? Always welcome!
Mike.
