Hello Volvo S70 owners/expers,

How do I remove the glove box door. I need to remove the passenger side dask(lower part cover) to access some wiring.

I can only suggest the procedure on the 850, which is a very similar car to the S70.

You need Torx bits and as to removing the glove box door, you would first disconnect the arc-shaped arms with flat-blade screwdriver, being careful not to damage anything. Then if I remember, there should be some Torx screws that are holding the glove box lid. Then, remove several Torx screws from the box and it should budge. After that, you'll need to remove the lower plastic thing & metal knee bolster, which is shaped like a half duct. This one is held in place by regular hex nuts (x3 or 4). Be careful not to disturb the SRS, I usually disconnect the negative battery cable when I work around that area (this requires the engine control ECU to re-learn idle).

After you have removed the above items, you should have a good access around the A/C blower motor and wirings.

I hope this helps. I would buy a Haynes manual, which is worth $18 or so.
