can someone verify that this used to be a pilot bearing and give me some idea of how I could get it out? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Got back from the city today with a new blind-hole bearing puller. Grabs well, but I need more fuel for the torch, it's in there pretty well. 40 bucks at harbor freight, I'm glad I bought it, gonna come into play with a couple other jobs here shortly.
I'll be gettin it out in the morning, then I can finally reassemble this daggone thing.[&:]
