Default Please forgive me, I'm new to this

So, I bought this boost gauge to determine how much boost my 98 s70 t5 is running. I now plan on buying an mbc. Is there anything I need to do to turn up the boost? What and where is the wastegate? And, does anyone recomend a certain brand and model of mbc? I was looking at a perrin. Again, sorry if these questions have been answered a million times and thanks for any feedback.

Once you make your decision on which one you want to buy I can help walk you through the installation.

I bought a VooDoo from E-bay and love it.

The waste gate is on the side of the turbo.
No nothing else has to be done but the MBC then adjust it.

The round thing to the left is the waste gate.
In the carit is opposite.

Personally I don't recommend running a MBC on any Volvo period, but I know a lot of people have with good results.

Just be sure to have your boost gauge installed before hand so you know what boost your running stock and then what boost you running with the MBC. You don't want to run a lot of boost with the MBC. 15PSI to 17PSI is a good number and with the boost gauge installed you will be able to tell.

One recommendation to you would be do not cheap out on the MBC.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a step by step on how to install my boost gauge?
