Hey everyone.... My first time using this forum, so if i placed this incorrectly I apologize.


Anyways I'm about to buy an s70 glt awd and I was hoping some of you more experienced volvo fans could give a newbie some advice. My questions are as followed...

1. are s70's reliable?

2. Is the s70 glt awd model easier/ more capable of upgrades over a higher trim such as the s70 t-5 version?

3.. If so what upgrades can be done to enhance performance ( simple or complex)

4. Would an s60 be a better choice over the s70?

I'm trying to save some cash which is why I'm leaning more towards the s70, but plan on adding upgrades later on. however if an s60 is the better choice id just save up and buy the s60 -t5/ or r version

If you are looking to make the car faster, the T5 is the best choice.

I understand the t-5 is faster , however im having a hard time finding one. also the glt has only 55k miles on it!

but my major concern is would upgrading a glt be harder than it would to upgrade a t-5? I'm looking at getting 30 hp out of this car if i decide to buy it.
