radiator fan wont turn on
One night I turned off my car and the fan continued to run. I then turned my car back on and the check engine light came on (but I didnt have a tester so I don't know the code). Turned the car off again. Let the fan run for about 5mins before then I unhooked the battery so it wouldn't kill my car.
The next morning I hooked the battery back up and then fan didn't run and no check engine light so I thought I was fine. But the fan wont run at all now and I'm getting no check engine light.
I checked my connection and they're all in. I also checked all of the fuses.
Update: New relay didn't work and emission testing said their computer wont read when hooked to my car.

well.... it sounds as if there is an issue with the relays on the cooling fan... i had relays go on my V70 they were driving the fan crazy!
first when i shut down the engine the fan ran on ...ok. but didn't stop! then in traffic the next day the dam engine started to overheat! so i had the relays changed and the problem dissapeared
