Sometimes the radio code is written
On top of the Radio
in the owners manual in a random place
in sharpie under the hood

If not, you will need
radio type (that is SC801 or whatever it is )
radio serial number
part number of radio
VIN of car
Possible proof you own the radio/car.

As a shop I would simply call the parts department at my local dealer (who I called several times a day for parts) and give them that info. A few minutes later they would have the code for me.

It must be easier to find the find using the Car VIN, rather than the radio serial number, they seemed to prefer that method. Of course if the radio has been changed the code from the VIN will not work.

are you still trying to get the four digit security code or looking for instructions on how to enter the code ( ie by using the channel preset buttons for entering the numbers 1-6)

You have a radio and a code for it - yes?

Then turn radio on - if the display says CODE, enter the 4 digit code (on the 1-6 buttons) and the radio will come on

If it says OFF, that means the wrong code has been entered at least 3 times. Turn the key to the accessory position, wiper, lights and climate control will work. Turn all that off and leave the key on for 2 hours. You could also drive the car for 2 hours. After 2 hours the display should return to CODE. then enter code -

Is this what you needed?
