You need to get it from the Dealer.

Thanks, the dealer made a mistake withthe numbers and now it says off. I looked in the manual and it apaprently is locked. The book said to leave the car off for 2-3 hours nad it will reset to say code. That did no thappen, any thoughts on how to get it bck to say code?
Thanks again.

Did you leave the ignition set at Position 1 and the unit left on?

This is from the owner's manual:

Incorrect code

If an incorrect code has been entered "rPt" is displayed. Enter the correct code.
After three unsuccessful coding attempts the set will lock and remain locked for two hours.
"OFF" is displayed.

During this waiting period: [*]the battery must be connected[*]the ignition key must be turned to position I[*]the unit must be turned on

Nope I did not, I just went out to turn the ignition to 1 position. When I put in the codes, after i did it it just stayed on the numbers I punched in, I never got the "rpt" thing. If it is done correctly, should it autamaticaly start working?

When you input the wrong code it goes to off until about 2 hours, but you need to leave the key in position 1 during that time. So I hope you have a garage where you can leave it sit with the keys.

You will have to give them the radio model # and serial number to make sure they give you the proper one.

Pull out the radio and see if a different-4 digit-number is written -not printed on the tag-on the top. That may be the number you need.

Ok I remembered that I had a problem with the radio and speakers awhile back. I called the dealer again and got one of the service reps I know. He looked up te history and found a radio repair and new code. I put it in and it works...Thanks for all the help.
