Default rattel and viberation

1999 S70 AWD, with 220K (Km)
I just need some input before I take the car to the mechanic.
My car has some rattel and vibration, you can feel it on the streeing, It worse on turns ( left and Right)
it's not the Rotors, (I checked them) Also I know for the fact that my Bevel gear in no good. Can any one tell me what it might be? a Bad CV joint? End links or loweer arms.
Secon question, does it worse to spend around $2 K and get a new Bevel gear ( Angle bearing)

best

One I need a little clearer discription of the noise.

2. If it were me I would take it out and throw it away and reinstall the axle and go on.

the Vibration usually start at low speed and fade away around 60 Km/h. Also I notice it it become worse it lower temprature ( Early in the morning or late at night) but by driving the car it become better but it still there.
Beside all other possibility, I am also thinking about lack of lubrication ( Grease) in some of the moving parts, when it's cold there is not enough greas and causes laoud noise, but after 20 Min. of driving the moving parts get warmer and grease / lubricant have lower viscusity and start to lubricate the parts better, then I hear less noise.
This is my thinking, I need to take it to a Mechanic for inspection

I have the same car (99 though FWD) with a bit more milage and the same noise just started in the Right front with feedback in the steering wheel after the first cold morning of the season on Friday. In my case it is the CV joint.
Tech has much more experince wrenching on newer FWD & AWD Volvos than I, I would follow his advise.

Hello there
Today, I have my mechanic remove the prop shaft ( Drive shaft). The central bearing ( U- joint) was shut. I test drove the car with no porp shaft and everything was OK. All noises rattels and vibration all were gone.
The price for the New shaft was about 41400 Can. I decided not to install a new one and use the car as a FWD.
Does anunodu know if I can repair / Replace the U-joint bearing?

It will only go bad again very common problem.
