so my passenger side rear door rattles on the outside when ever the speaker hits a bass note. i press against the outside of the car and it stops, leading me to believe something is loose. what should i do?

 

Where are you pressing?

 

on the rear passenger door below the trim

 

But will it stop if you press on the top.

Maybe the striker plate needs adjusting.

 

pressing on the top? as in above where the speaker hits? that doesnt do anything.

and adjusting the striker plate, would that involve removing the door panel or just the speaker?

 

I was wondering if the entire door is rattling.
The door striker is the part on the body that the door latches onto when shut.

Not sure where it could be coming from.
You might have to remove the door panel and search.
