Hi all

My drivers rear door is not currently locking. All the other doors lock fine when using the car fob.

I can see it try to go down and goes most of the way when locked but seems to stop and not go as far as it should. Any ideas on what this might be and how to fix it?

First check to make sure the connecting rod is not binding, the look up RobertDIY. He did a video about the "thermal switch" inside the powerlock mechanism. That might be your problem

 

If you watched the initial video on youtube the sticking door lock, you’ll see that straight lubrication of the mechanism did the trick.
