Default Remove Radio

I am interested in purchasing and hopefully installing a wire to connect my iPod directly to the factory issued head unit. Does anyone here know a tutorial or website that offers a howto for removing the head unit? I have found places where you can pay for such knowledge, but there surely has to be somwhere that has it for free...Any help would be extremely helpful!

On the 850 and V70 there are two little tabs on each side of the radio. You push them in and the pop out. Then you just grab the tabs and pull the head unit out. Once you get it out, you will need the factory code for your unit to get it to come back on.

The Radio code can be found at the local Dealer for free. Give them your Vin# and they can get it for you.

NOT most of them will give it no problem. They will just ask for a copy of the Regristration.

Unless the Man at the Parts Counter is a D*** then any Dealer will give it to you.
They look it up online with Volvo.
