I need to remove the trim panel surrounding the gear shift in my 2000 S70 in order to replace the lighter socket. I can't seem to get the right side to pop out.

Any suggestions or links to direction would be appreciated.

Google "volvo S70 center console removal" and see what comes up. The DIY 850 section might work. It may be possible to just remove that section of the front of the console. I think it comes off in the 850. Many things in the 850 and S70 are the same.
