Hello,
I just bought a 1998 Volvo S70 with the 2.4L non-turbo and a manual transmission. The car is not passing the safty inspection due to a non-functioning check engine light. I have some mechanical experience and am willing to tackle the problem myself, but I've never pulled an instrument cluster before, and the Haynes is still in the mail. So if anyone could send me a quick write up of what I'm up against I would be very appreciative.

Look in the 850 section I made a post about removing the speedo cluster in a 850.
It is very similiar but only minor differences.
