Ok Ive done a some of research on this subject but Ive yet to fully understand how to replace these bulbs. Most of the threads Ive found online are for the manual unit. Ive already removed the ECC unit and unscrewed the 4 screws in the back but all i find is a green circuit board but no visible light bulb sockets. Are the bulbs soldered into the board or are they neo wedge bulbs like the one in the dahsboard switches? Is there a way to remove the front faceplate to access the bulbs?? Any help would be extremely appreciated. BTW I have a 1999 volvo s70 base model.
