Smile Replacing o2 sensor

Hi I drive a 2000 Volvo S70 SE non turbo and my drivers side o2 sensor is faulty or dirty according to the codes. Does anyone have an idea of the cost of an o2 sensor for the driver side or what product is the best for the replacement; I heard that Bosch was not very good.

Also, how tough of an installation is that?

I really appreciate your help!

Thanks,

Matt

FCP GROTON will have them. Direct OE replacements are about 140, otherwise they have some for about 100, but I think they are the Bosch ones.

Unscrewing the one that's in there and unplugging it, then screwing the new one in and plugging it back in. That, however, is best case scenario, now if your exhaust is all rusted over you'll probably need some serious heat or PB Blaster to get it out, which is never easy with the exhaust in.

DON'T use eBay ones, I have heard lots of bad things about them, like not working. You know that saying measure twice cut once? Well don't buy a cheap one just to have to buy another one and then in long run spending extra money and more time, just get an OE replacement, or the Bosch ones are probably pretty decent too.

WHY NOT,Some people on Ebay sells OEM as well, and much cheaper then FCP G,though they do have great prices.

If they're OEM then yeah. But don't buy used ones. What's the point of replacing something that's old, with something that's old? Especially O2 sensors. They're a PITA.
