Hmmmmmmm!! I just saw an 1999 s70, but its with CLOTH seats :O!!! and also the front sets are TORN, like in the middle, and i dont know what engine it has(i guess its the BASE BASE BASE engine, because of the cloth seats), should i buy it for $4,500?

hahaha and you know whats funny? i saw that car earlier today and i called the place, and i asked the asking price, and they said $6,500 and i was surprised because i saw the pic of the torn seats, and they said that they can lower the price i was like NO, and i just checked the site 10 mins ago, and the price is 5,500 now and the pic of the torned seats is gone ....ha-ha, so i guess i can go tomorrow to LOOk at it, and if everything is ok besides the seat i can lower the car to 4,500

 

I highly doubt an S70 with clothe seats will be a Turbo. I would keep looking for a 850 Turbo/R or a 98 S70 T5 or R. Does not sound like you are in any hurry, so wait until something you really want comes available. That 98 S70R for $8900 does not sound like a bad deal to me.

 

Yeah im in no hurry, but if i happen to find an S40 T5 when i go to the banks today, i will buy it if its in good shape and a good price

 

Well, i just called the guy with the S70R and i told him that whenever he wanted to lower the price, that he should gimme a call, and also, im not sure if its a real turbo, because on the back it says 2.5 20V, it doesnt say 2.5T 20V :S, ill go tomorrow to see if the engine says (numbers) and then a T, but still i prefer an 850 T5 than a S70R, how many Hp is it there in the S70R, 240?
