s70 shocks/struts
Bon jour,
Yes, the instruction seems quite helpful. If you find that a shop charges you more than you can afford, then you can work on it at your own risk. Again, the most dangerous part is where you compress the coil springs. Also, a good-quality floor jack & jack stands are a must whenever you work on suspension/brakes.
Should you decide to attack it on your own, be sure to have all parts, tools & equipment ready.
>By the way JPN you sure seem to like your useful thread & copy from one of your posts
It is called "mid-age moment"[8D].
I just believe it would help those who want to work on their 850/S70s. And I only provided basics to keep one's vehicle going for quite a while so he/she can save money to buy their dream cars, be it Peugeot (which are still selling well in Japan), brand-new Volvo, etc... I also keep updating it, trying to perfect it so that it'll be easier to understand, as well as being up-to-date.
Anyway, work safe if you decide to do it by yourself. Be sure to read safety cautions until you have fully understood them.
Bonne chance !

Thanks again for your help JPN.
Finally, I decided to go to a Volvo indie shop to have my car checked to be sure of what is to be repaired. End's up it's the bushings on the lower control arms that where shot.
So complicated repair I don't have to do anymore.
