Default sagging sun visor

Daughter's S70 has a sagging sun visor on the driver's side (which will NEVER do---gotta have that lighted vanity mirror-ha!). Anyway.....have purchased some off ebay for it, now my question is does the wire run down the post by the windshield, or does it involve removing the headliner (EEEKS!) to remove the old wire and hook up the new one?

Thanks for your help! ......again!!

It runs down alongside the windshield- shouldn't have to remove the headliner.
