Anyone know where I can buy a reset tool at a reasonable price? I have a 98 S70 and the dealer won't reset it for me without me making a donation to them.

 

Good luck they are pretty expensive.

If you are going to buy one try to find a code scanner that will reset the light as well.

 

If you find one fairly cheap let me know. My service light is on on both my 97 and 98. I have the OBD II scanner for the CEL but the one that would do the service light was over $200. Will the fast oil change places reset it, if you get an oil change there? I most always change my own oil, but it might worth having it done there every once in a while if they would turn that darn light out.

 

How much do you have to pay them? I only paid 5 bucks to have it cleared, so it wasnt worth buying a tool for something that cheap. This was volvo dealer in wakefileld, mass.
