Should I get a security system?

My first car is my 98 S70, thinking of getting a Viper Security system for it, $150 with installation, will it work well and is it worth it considering its an older car?

if your car already has the volvo security system, dont bother. do you have the keyless entry remote, and does it have a red button? if it has the red button then you already have the security system.

no it doesn't come with keyless entry, just the lame ol key...do you think its worth getting it though?

It is up to you.

I had a 1995 850 N/A had no security system on it and it was fine.

I have a 1999 s70 awd with the OEM security system on it and it is fine.

If you think you need it then get it.
