So I got my self a Volvo
Well, the difference in price sounds worse than it actually is. only 10%. So if I can gain 10% in economy I can swing it. I go through gas to quick for it to matter. From what I've read, the worse part about ethonol is when it sits in the tank for a few weeks. Other than that, nothing that using fuel injector cleaner won't keep cleaned up.
HAHA wow what a weekend! Sold the Jeep for my asking price in 10 days! sale price covered all expenses including parts I get to get this car back in tip top shape and then some.
Sold it on the day I signed the lease to my new place so it that extra jingle in my pocket helped with moving too.
This Volvo did an awesome job stuffing stuff into my townhouse. I still had to use my GMC to move the furniture, but this thing did the rest, all the boxes, and MSC crap. And still returned 27 MPG doing it. Awesome car. My GMC got 8 MPG

This week I took another trip. This time instead of paying $4.25 for super no ethol, I put in 87 octane @ 3.69 per gallon. Cruising at 70 I got the same mileage (29 mpg). I think I'll run the 87 when I'm on the road since I'm just going to burn it right out in a few hours.

yea I noticing the same. I ran non ethanol for a tank or two and now im trying 10% ethanol 87 octane. I see no difference.
I ran the no ethanol for a bit mostly because this car had been sitting 2.5 YEARS not being ran before I came alone.
