I just bought a 2000 S70 used of course and there are a few things wrong I would like to fix.

The dash has some clear, looks like cleaner stuff behind the cover on the instrument panel (the glass thing). Is there any way to get behind it without taking the whole thing apart?

Also, I realized one of the wipers on the front headlamps doesn't do it's thing when you use the washer fluid. Is there anything I should look for to fix this without getting a whole new assembly? If I can't fix it It won't matter too much.

 

You have to pull half the dash apart to get to the lens for the speedo.

Most likely the wiper motor is bad.

 

so that will take me forever

and cost a ton. ($200 ish unless I can find a used one.)

Not sure but think the speedo cover is Dealer only.

 

I got the cover priced by a dealer and they estimated 3 hours labor. at $70 or whatever it is an hour that isn't worth it to get a cleaner car. Also, the wipers on the front don't do anything necessary. I guess I might get them both fixed if I get some completely expendable cash here.
