Default Bunch of small fixes / could use some suggestions

All:

This is my second post. I purchased the 98 v70 T5 with 38k miles two weeks ago and have a laundry list of issues I am going to fix this weekend.

Install headlight wiper stop...think i have this one figured out

Replace air pump, relay, and SAS valve.......pretty vanilla

Fix the rattling tailgate interior panel.......purchased the repair kit for $17..hope it is pretty straightforward

Install the inner rubber squeegee on the drivers door....seems simple enought

Install new spark plugs (NGK Iridium)......been there done that

Now for the not so clear issues:

Install new interior air filter......Where is this located?

Install front license plate retainer....I have ordered the retainer BUT..Is the bumper support pre drilled for this retainer? Is the inside of the bumper cover marked for me to drill holes? Any guidance on this one is appreciated.

Figure out what is wrong with the washer fluid for the tailgate and headlights. I have verfied the pump is working by holding the button to activate the tailgate wiper fluid. I checked the area around the reservoir and it was soaked with wiper fluid telling me that something is not connected correctly. Are there two different pumps? 1 for the windshield and 1 for the tailgate and headlights? If so where is this second pump. I see one coming out next to the filler neck of the fluid reservior.

I appreciate your help

Gino

One thing I can tell you is where the filter is locared. Open the hood and you will notice a panel with some torx screws near the windshield. Remove those screws and replace your filter.

There is 2 different pumps. But if you are leaking fluid try to find where the hose connects and then look in the back of the car for the filter. I will bet that the filter clogged and then blew the hose off.

The pumps are located in the washer bottle in the R/F fender.

I have bought stuff from idpusa, fcpgroton.com, swedishautoparts or something like that, and bimmerzone.com.........the one I absolutely will not buy from again is the swedish place. The staff at idp and fcp are very friendly and helpful which goes a long way with me. Bimmerzone.....good company.....have not had to call customer service.
Hope that helps
