I have a cracked spring seat on the front right strut of a 98 S70. Is this difficult to replace?
I don't want to attempt to compress the spring or strut as I'm not qualified.
Let me know if it's a difficult job or just a matter of taking off the cap, fitting, & strut mount &
replacing the spring seat. I'm pretty handy but I think I'm missing something here...

If you don't feel comfortable compressing the spring then let someone else do it.
It requires compressing the spring.
