I have a 2000 Volvo S70. When cold it will crank on the first turn of the key. After driving when I kill the engine, the engine will not restart. The motor turns over but makes no attempt to crank. If I wait a couple of hours, the engine will start up immediately. Any ideas on what the problem is?

the engine turns over freely, just does not start , no check engine lights
