When I turn my 1998 Volvo S70 steering wheel at low speeds there is a squeeling noise or grinding noise its hard to describe what the sound is. But what could be causing that, low power steering fluid possibly?

 

Did you check the steering fluid?

 

Power steeting pump fluid is fine I just checked it. A tech told me it could be my power steeting pump on it's way out, he said the noise is not too bad and not to worry about it now. But he said worse thing that could happen is I wouldnt have power steering if it died on me.
