Are there north american s70R's? Lets talk.
Before you say no and condemn me...lol, hear me out. There is the common consent that they do not exist. But even volvo says their records are not good.
I had a dealer here in Calgary run my vin on his system and it came up as
Model: S70 Rn
Sequential number: 1
Does the "n" stand for north america?
My car was badge-less when i bought it last year so it is a bit of a puzzle for me. Built in Belgium.
There is no T5 emblem residue on my S70 which would be on the bottom part of the back fender section just above the bumper and under the tail light right?
I noticed that the actual R badging would be along side the S70 on the rear below the trunk spoiler. If so there is a difference of location for the S70 part. If not an "R" the 0 finishes close to the edge of the trunk. With the "R" it is left by one emblem width.
I can actually see the residue on my car(at the correct angle) which shows as "S70R".....im not kidding. Isnt it hard to fake that?
It actually does look like the factory badging that was on the car originally.
It has the suede/leather interior but not diamond stitched. No blue gauges. Does have front and rear Tinted windows. Black exterior. Black interior with grey as the second color.
Is it possible there was a watered down north american version that was marketed in California which is where my car was delivered? Not quite as nice as the European version?
Not looking to start an argument or say i have the greatest car ever or anything like that. Just trying to see what everyone knows and what the rumors are for these "R" cars.
Anyone want my vin? I can post pics of whatever you want to see if that helps.
Thx.
