Default thinking about buying a '98 s70 T5

Thinking about buying a '98 s70 T5SE. 183,000 on the odometer. never owned a volvo, but as i have read, some loyal owners out there. Any ideas positive or negative? any advice is appreciated. it is a private party sale, and current owner has owned for only 3 years.

Take it to a mechanic for a pre purchase once/twice over. If owner says no.......run don't walk away. Hopefully you can find a local independent volvo shop near by.

BTW: How much is current owner asking for for this 98 S70?

+1!!
When you get it ckd out, make sure you insist on compression test (some pre-purchase ckouts don't include this crucial test); also is good to do quick alignment ck to rule out frame damage.
