tinted/smmoked tail lights on a s70?
hello,
i was wondering if any of you have any pictures of an s70 with tinted/smoked tail lights. im looking into getting them done, but i wanted to see some pictures or hear some second opinions about it. my s70 is silver, but any pics would help. oo yea i was thinking of just doing the white part of the tail light.
thanks,

Ill try and find some pics. Also, I would suggest going with an tint film(instead of spray) for a few reasons. 1) You can remove it if it doesnt look good 2) It will be even tint %(With a spray you have to make sure to do all areas evenly) 3) Its easier to leave areas out, such as I am debating whether or not I should tint the rear turn/backup signal section. 4) Its cheap, I am doing my headlights and tail lights for only $24(including shipping)

where do buy the tint for the tail lights? and also wont it be difficult to do the tail lights with tint since it is curved?
i did mine with tint spray, but i dont really like it.. i missed some spots.. because it was hard to get all the red covered... but my friend removed it for me... you have to use gasoline in order for it to be removed.. put some gasoline on like a terry towel and rub it on. it should come right off.. for me it worked out just fine..

I changed my plan, I am only going to do the tail lights, since I will get projectors at some point. So teh new total with shipping is $18.98
Since we have the same car, I already measured the tail lights 10"x21"(adding a few inches for the bends) You can double check with a tape measure. I am ordering from HERE You will need the 24"x24" Tint film.
I am getting the darkest they have.
To answer your question about the difficulty. It should not be that hard, the tint is not like window tint, it is designed to bend and form. Also you will need water and another person to get the job done. They have instructions on the website.

Just finished mine tonight. Used vht night-shade, three coats on the red, one coat on the turn signal and reverse (just taped off the turn and signal the first two coats. sanded 3 times with 400 grit waterproof sandpaper cleaning regularly with soapy water. a little darker than expected, would suggest maybe one coat on the clear areas and two on the red. If it's ever too dark i guess i start sanding again
