Torque specs
My valve cover is leaking oil and I need to do the gasket but I dont have the torque specs. Can somebody please provide those numbers so I can remedy this leak, it is a mess and has damaged the coolant hoses. All help will be greatly appreciated.

It's probably not the valve cover gasket. It's actually very likely the oil cap seal. get a new one- they dry out and crack. This car doesn't actually have a valve cover gasket- there's no normal valve cover, either. The 40 bolts that hold the top on? they're there because the cover holds the cams down. DON'T take that cover off unless you know what you're doing! You have to take off the timing belt first. But anyhow, that's likely not the source of your leak. They're sealed with a thin bead of really strong anaerobic sealant, and I've never seen that sealant fail, unless it was re- done and done very badly. The most common cause of oil leaks in that area is the oil cap. Take off the spark plug cover and see if there's oil pooling in there. If so, you need an oil cap seal.
Also, do a search of the forum on PCV system. You could have excessive internal pressure building up in the engine, forcing oil to seep out. PCV systems (the whole thing) need to be changed about every 70k to 100k miles on these cars, as they get plugged up, and the pressure increase can cause oil to leak, usually from shaft seals, often from the rear main seal, which is very difficult to replace.
