Default Trip Computer Malfuction
I am new to this forum

Have a 1999 S70

Trip Computer doesn't read right

Says avg. mpg approx 14, avg mph also about 14

This can't be right

Have you tried holding down the Reset button and resetting it yet?

Yes I have reset computer twice.
The only other thinngs I hasve done are to change headlights,
add K&N Filter & disconnect battery

How much have you driven it after hooking up the battery. If not long give it a little time to reset itself.
It will need to relearn.

Yes they Can. Your car learned from your driving. It relearns every once in a while. Espically if you get a software upgrade. The system that does it the most is the Transmission.

Took it for a good ride today and it did fix it.

Registering 24.5 Mpg on mixed city and highway driving.

That's probably about right.
