Default trip computer says DISC???

I've noticed a couple of times, when I cycle through the trip computer(like this morning), that when i stop on one of the items, the display say DISC and all of the tabs are highlighted(the little black marker that tells you what selection your on, all of them come on). when i go and switch to another one, it will be fine. just wondering if this is something i should get checked out.

The problem you speak of is the switch is bad.You can just buy a new switch and install it your self and that will fix your problem.

It is the switch on the dash on the left side of the steering wheel. That you move to see the MPG MPH and temp.

Steamroll9,

Yeah, tech is right if it says DISC and won't change from that. Sometimes, DISC will briefly show up if you switch to a function from another one, but it should go away after a second or two. DISC actually is short for "discovering" apparently... its just an indicator that lets you know your computer is accessing that data; kinda like a "waiting" message you'd get on a home computer when its getting data thats not immediately available for display.
