I've got a '98 XC70 full parts car that I'd like to swap the turbo motor for the N/A one in my '98 S70 manual. I know it's more typical to swap the transmission in, but I'd rather swap the motors and keep the sedan.

Assumptions:
1. The manual will mate to the turbo motor.

2. The wiring harness must be swapped.

How good are my assumptions?

I will document with photos if this one gets off the ground. My son and I have about a month to complete it. I have an insulated, heated garage, lots of tools, and plenty of wrenching experience.
