I really want to go HID on my Volvo, But I keep hearing from literally everyone that HID bulbs in my stock housings will blind everyone and not really put out any useful light.

I do realize that halogen and Xenon bulbs have different filament alignment, But from what I noticed, My stock housings have a pretty good cut-off.

So, Is it possible at all to put HIDs in there and not blind everyone? I really can't afford projector housings; and my stock lights suck even after putting Sylvania zXes in them and buffing the lense.
