is that going to mess up anything as far as speedo?

there is a set of 15's with like new tires at junkyard and I was wondering how car would ride on them while I refinish my 16's

junk rims are on a 2000 s70 gle and mine is a 99 t5 s70

We do the best we can but not everyone gets and answer as fast as they want or is the answer they want.
If you looked at the posts in the Wheel and tire section you'd have seen that not many people go there and you'd be better off asking here in your cars section.

about 5 hrs on a holiday weekend??????

3 basic things about changing wheels.Unless you change the overall diameter of the tire/wheel, the width of the tire/wheel or the total width of the car, it will not matter if you change the wheels

If you want no impact......

If the wheel is wider than the original, make sure the offset (amount the landing surface of the wheel is from center) allows the wheel and tire to clear the caliper and shspension compnents.

If the offset allows everything to clear, then you wnat to be OK with the total width. If the wheel is much wider it changes the geometry. You can see that on the road with people that put really wide wheels on their cars and it looks like the wheel is miss shaped.

The toal diameter is the easiest to deal with. You can go to sites like tirerack.com, etc and just look at the outside diameter specification of the original rubber on the car. Then find a 16" version of the tire that has the same diameter. Since the outside diamter is a funtion of the width of the tire you have to browse around.

Good luck with it

The only risk you take is if the T5 has larger brakes and the smaller wheel rubs the caliper.
