Hey guys!

I am new to the Volvo Forum when it comes to posting but I have been reading through forum after forum for some time now, and I decided I need to post a question I have and see what I get.

I own a Volvo S70 GLT SE, it's a great car and it runs like a champ! I have been eager to upgrade some stuff to increase its performance a bit and I wanted to see what you all think before I gave anything a shot, maybe ask a few questions as well.

The first thing I have already done to the car; and this really isn't much of an upgrade but it was driving me nuts, was creating a switch that controlled the functionality of the antenna. It took me about an hour to figure out how to do it and it worked out nicely and I would say it doesn't look to bad either!

Now I have been looking for my next upgrade and this one I am hoping will benefit the performance of the car a bit more than the aerodynamics that I'll get with no antenna (hehe).

I was set on getting a short ram intake, the one from IPD but I have pretty much talked myself out of it and into getting a K&N flat filter instead because it seems expensive for such a small upgrade in horsepower and MPG. If you think that a short ram intake will be better, let me know because I won't be hard to persuade.

Now my next question is what should I do next? I am not too great with cars so something simple and easy, also on the cheap side... I am tired of opening my hood and everything being all stock.
