My wifes Volvo has suddenly become hard to start. The key is difficult to turn like the ignition is grabbing or dragging as the key is turning.

Any fix for this? In the weeks leading up to this the key would sometimes not start the car having to pull it out and turn it around having it start right away.

Volvo ignition switches are known to go bad. Usually accessed by removing theupper/lower shrouds behind steering wheel and a couple of screws. 50 or 60 bucks - 1/2 hour.
