08 S80 maintance
Hello everyone and thankyou for taking the time to look at our post!! This is our first time on this site and first post. We have a 08 S80 with a 3.2 non turbo and a auto trans. We done a few things with success. We have a lot of trouble trying to purchase the manual, but that's not the issue. The vehicle has 132,500 miles. We are doing a lot of maintenance to it now. Purchased all 4 tires, brakes and rotors, struts, dry belt and pullies Spark plugs, trans fluid and motor oil. Our questions are as follow 1) After removing the dry belt, we would like to know if we did damage to the P/S pump by not removing the 2 torque screws to pull it out of the way to remove the belt? Spring issues? And reinstallation ? Also the Alt pully seems to be harder than I was expecting, should we just grip harder with the channel locks to loosen the bolt? 2) Upon changing the brakes, we were trying to flush the brake fluid but was unsuccessful, is there a special procedure for this? 3) Not knowing the history, we wanted to do the Timing Belt, Any help with this is greatly appreciated!!! 4) Any strut help would be great, that's all we have left to do. We are rather **** with our vehicle's and want them done right the first time! If anyone can help with torque specs on any of these items we would be in your debt, seeing that getting the manuals is like getting government help!!! Thank you so much for you time and efforts J&J
