Hi all,

Just had the original battery replaced at 160k miles -- picked up a Duralast Gold H6-DLG at Autozone. I've read (after making the purchase) that the T7 would also work in the car. What's the difference? Do I need to go back and swap it out? If so, why?

 

I have typically returned to the Volvo dealer to get batteries. What I pay wholesale is within a dollar or two of the batteries at Wal Mart. Incidentally, I've found their batteries (Wal Mart) to be of good quality and a great warranty.

As far as I can tell, the H-6 is the correct battery for the vehicle.

 

H6 has more CCA, T7 has less but enough and it would fit. H6 is the more correct of the two
