Hey, im a new user to this forum and im looking for a little help. Ive been looking for a double din aftermarket stereo mounting piece for my 1999 s80 T6. Ive seen about a hundred sites that have the single din mounting pieces, but its not what im looking for. I know it exhist somewhere cause ive seen an s80 with one in it. Can anyone help me out??

 

Skosch (sp)? makes one. Volvo also has one which is what I have but it required a fair amount of mods to make it fit right.

I have a double din Kenwood in a 2000 S80 - thread with a picture somewhere on this board.

 

Thanks! Its great to hear theres hope. But just to clear things up, you got it at the Volvo dealer? Also is the mount made for the s80 specifically or the s60? Cause ive seen TONS of pics online with double din stereos in s60's

 

I got mine off ebay but it was an actual volvo part in a volvo box. Might still have the part # and box since I probably put the factory radio in the same box after the swap.

Only reason I went with the Volvo part was that I happened to come across it on ebay while searching for the non-volvo brands. The plastic from the volvo part matches perfect. The shop said the others would be close (which is ok with me) but not perfect. It is kind of cool that it is a perfect match.

 

Thats pretty interesting. Ill look into it, no need to go scavenging around for that old box. But, thanks alot for all the help. I talked to my local radio shop today and this is the only part i need, so thanks!
