I've finally saved up the money to start making my own 3 inch (hopefully) downpipe. I have a friend up the road that can do all of the welding, I just would like to know some stuff before I get started. I would like to know if anyone can tell me the measurements of the bolts that connect the stock downpipe to the turbo. In other words, what does the flange look like so I can see how large of a diameter I can go. I am keeping the stock turbo as I am uninterested in upgrading to a bigger one; this is just exhuast work. My plans are after exhuast and intake k&n drop filter, installing the throttle inlet tube and turbo intake tubes I just purchased from snabb and ipd, then cleaning the pcv canister under the alternator. Doing belts and replacing all hoses and finally getting a RICA tune from snabb. Anyways, can anyone send me somewhere with a template for a stock turbo outlet flange? My last rrsort would be to go to a scrap yard and yank one off a dead s80 and get cracking that way, but I'd rather not. Much thanks!!
