Default 2001 S80 wont start

The car has been sitting in my yard for 2 wks without being cranked or driven. Before I parked it there everything was fine. Was completely dead, connected a jumper cable and realized the trunk was open. Shut it and tried to crank it with a jump and all I get is clicks. Disconnected the cable under the hood waited for 5 minutes and it still only clicks. Power locks wont function nor will the power sunroof. Window will roll down. I have gotten a couple of different warning messages ranging from full guard to abs maintenance required to SRS air bag error. Any clue what this could be. Any other suggestions? The jumper cables I am using are kind of small, could it be that they are not transfering enough voltage? thanks for any help.

instead of trying to jump it,,may be better just to put the battery your jumping it from into the volvo, if it starts then unhook battery to see if your alternator will keep it running

i dont recommend disconnecting the battery with the car on. it will damage ur alternator, then ur going to need a new one. , just use a voltmeter and put it on the battery cables or direct to alternator to see the volts it should be from 13 to 14 volts, recharge ur battery at an advanced auto parts or auto zone and they also check its the battery is good or not
