Talking 2002 S80 T6 Fuel Door Issue

Just bought this volvo and realized the previous owner had replaced the fuel door. Problem is, the original fuel door had all the important tire information and other things.

Can someone with a similar year and model take a picture of the instructions inside the fuel door and post it here? I'd really hate to buy a new fuel door for just this issue. I really wish this important information was in the owner manual as well but it isn't!

Not sure why you'd say the info is not in the owners manual. The label tells you vehicle capacity (people! and total weight), tire pressure for standard and optional wheels (most people have their own preferences or use the tire side references (lower sidewall ratios generally use higher tire pressure - ie 60 series may be 32 or so, 50 series 36, 40 series 38 etc.) If you have a compact spare it'll tell you to pump that to 60 PSI or so. Finally it may tell you recommended octane is 91 (US rating) etc. The final point is really dependent on where you live and how you drive but most turbos prefer mid blend or high test vs regular to get full power. All of this should be in the owners manual as well. Having owned each of my Volvos 10+ years, I don't think I've ever bothered looking at the info label for details. I set my tires to 36 PSI on my 60 series tires and 38 on the 50s cold, I tend to buy mid grade gas (89) since I drive conservatively and don't really stay on boost. I gave up on following Volvo's recommended tire pressure on my 850T after 4-5 side wall blow outs - the factory listing is way too low for rough roads of the north. Started keeping 36-38 PSI and no more blow outs.

Default Hi @mt6127

Thanks for the reply!

I have read my owners manual front page to back. When it makes references to tire size and pressure, it refers me to check the info in the fuel door. Don't know why they just didn't put the info in the owners manual. Unfortunately, the previous owner had the fuel door changed and it doesn't have the info label on it.

I did find a tool online that recommends tire size and pressure: Recommended Tire Inflation Pressure for Your 2002 Volvo S80 T6 | Firestone Complete Auto Care

I only wish I could see a picture of the inside of the fuel door label.
